Brown to Speak About Economy

LONDON -- Prime Minister Gordon Brown is expected to hammer home the global causes of the credit crunch and the need for new approaches to regulating financial and commodity markets in a major speech on the economy Thursday, as he attempts to recover from his deep unpopularity with British voters.
